First Reconciliation

Our young parishioners prepare in 2nd grade to receive this Sacrament of First Reconciliation for the first time. The celebration ordinarily takes place in March.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. [Colossians 1:13-14]

We encourage frequent confession for all baptized Catholics past the age of reason. Please see our regular confession schedule for our Family of Parishes below.

Our Lady of Mercy Parish:

Saturday: 3:00-4:00pm, Tuesday: 7:00-7:30pm, Thursday: 6:00-6:30pm.

[A priest is often available for confessions following the Saturday morning Mass at Our Lady of Mercy.]

St. Brigid’s Parish: Saturday: 4:00-4:30pm

Resurrection Parish:

St. Joseph site: Saturday: 3:00–3:30

St. Cecilia site: Wednesdays: 6:30pm,

Holy Name of Mary site: Tuesdays: before and after Mass
