I'm New Here

Visiting a new church can be intimidating, but know you are welcome to come attend Mass.
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or talk with an usher when you visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When are Masses?

You can find our Mass Schedule here.

  • When are confessions?

You can find our Family of Parish's confessions here.

  • Who can receive Holy Communion?

All Catholics who are in a state of grace (no unconfessed mortal/serious sin) may receive Holy Communion. Non-Catholics should abstain from receiving Communion but are invited to come forward with arms crossed over the chest in the Priest's communion line for a special blessing.

  • Are children welcome?

Yes! We believe that children are part of our community and little noise and wimpers are part of the package. (If you feel your little one is getting too fussy, all the Churches in our Parish family have an area to take a child to get them settled down.)

  • How can I follow along during Mass?

The prayers and songs used during Mass, as well as all the Scripture reaadings that are proclaimed during Mass can be found in the Missalette provided in our Churches.
